Games scheduled at Walker Field 1 and 2 will proceed. The committee has worked tirelessly the past 24 hours to get games on the park today. The fields are not perfect but there is no surface football so we will forge ahead as best we can. It’s the end of the season, finals around the corner and we know just how important it is for some teams particularly those in top 4 contention. So please show some compassion this weekend for all clubs regardless of whether its a wash out or a game played in muddy conditions. It’s not an easy job being a volunteer and challenges like this don’t make it any easier.
